PreK-12 Private School Academy
Square Root of Success College Prep Academy offers students in grades PreK through 12 a small private school education that is focused on strong academics while helping them become well-rounded students that truly enjoy learning about our fascinating world. Our unique class block schedule provides students with the opportunity to make the most out of their week. Students take engaging core subject classes along with elective classes and are given opportunities for special projects outside of the curriculum.
There are also two times during the school year where students will participate in Special Projects Week. During these one-week special events, students will get the opportunity to study a topic of interest to them outside of the normal curriculum and participate in volunteer opportunities, design their own experiments, or put together projects either on campus or off campus. At the end of each semester, students are also given a study week to study for finals without the interuption of regularly scheduled classes. During this time, students can work independently, complete assignments, and get tutoring before their tests.
One unique aspect of our Academy is our bonus point system. Everything is more fun when you can earn prizes! We give out a generous amount of bonus points during our classes to encourage student participation, maintain the attention of our students, truly reward students for doing well and trying, and to associate fun, positive emotions with the learning process. Only some bonus points can be used for grades. The rest of the bonus points that students receive can be cashed in for toys, school supplies, snacks, gift cards, etc. When bonus points are involved, school becomes fun and exciting no matter the subject, and when school is more fun, students achieve greater success and happiness.
