One-Subject ACT Prep Course for the February 6th ACT test
**We are currently in a temporary location while our building is being remodeled. All classes will be held at 2319 Bob Wallace Ave Suite B until further notice.**
The one-subject ACT prep courses teach students the tips, strategies, and key concepts for that ACT subject test. Students will work through timed and untimed practice tests. There is a maximum of 3 students per class, so students get the personalized attention that they need to succeed. Students will be working independently of others and will move along at their own pace.
In the English-only ACT prep course, students will be able to learn and master how to recognize what type of question is being asked, how to approach the question, and how to recognize trick answers. This course comes with a 5-point subscore increase guarantee* if students meet certain criteria.
In the math-only ACT prep course, students will learn and review key concepts from prealgebra through precal. Students will also work through practice tests and apply their knowledge. Students will learn how to masterfully use their calculator as well. Each student will be given an assessment at the beginning and end of the course. This course comes with a 3-point subscore increase guarantee* if students meet certain criteria.
In the reading-only ACT prep course, students will improve their reading comprehension skills by working through practice tests and learning what the questions are asking. Students who have trouble finishing the test will practice time strategies and reading strategies to improve their speed.
In the science-only ACT prep course, students will become experienced with interpreting different kinds of data by working through practice tests. Students will also review major science concepts and vocabulary that show up regularly on the ACT.
If you are interested in signing up for ACT Prep for just one subject for the February 6th ACT test, please fill out the registration form and pay either a non-refundable deposit or the full amount to secure a seat in the class. Below is a list of the class days that each class will meet. We will not have regular classes the week of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on January 18-21, but there are two scheduled make-up classes** during that break on January 20th and 21st. On January 30th from 1:30-4:45pm, students can take a mock ACT exam to prepare for the upcoming test.
